A ventilated occlusal patch used to treat penetrating chest wounds. It does not allow air to enter the pleural cavity through the wound, but allows air and accumulated blood to escape. The gel adhesive base of the patch is fixed on the skin.

The patch has a round shape with a diameter of 6 inches (152 mm), elastic and sterile. Thanks to the gel-based adhesive, it easily adheres to any surface, without the need for preliminary preparation (shaving hair, sterilization, degreasing, etc.). Fits snugly, without gaps and unauthorized air access.
